When you localize your application you customize it for a specific locale (language and location). Localization involves the creation of application resources for locales that you want to support in your application. Besides translating the text content into multiple languages, Kanzi enables you to use different resources for each locale, including textures, styles, fonts, meshes, animations, composers, and materials.
Kanzi uses localization tables to store the localized text resources and information about which locale uses which project resources. See Localizing Kanzi applications.
Kanzi uses locale as an ID to select resources associated with a language and location. The default locale is the locale that Kanzi uses when the resources for the selected locale do not exist. See Using locales.

In your Kanzi applications you can display text in languages that write right-to-left, use line breaks according to the Unicode line breaking algorithm, or use ligatures. For example, in your Kanzi applications you can use Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Hindi, and right-to-left languages, such as Arabic and Hebrew. See Internationalization.
