Localization

When you localize your application you translate and customize it for a specific locale (language and location). Localization involves the creation and use of different resources, such as, text, textures, and styles, for locales that you want to support in your application. Besides translating the text content into multiple languages, Kanzi enables you to use different resources for each locale, including animations, brushes, composers, fonts, materials, meshes, textures, and styles.

Kanzi uses localization tables to store the localized text resources and information about which locale uses which project resources. See Localizing applications.

Kanzi includes both internationalization and localization features and is as such a true global solution for all your UI needs. In your Kanzi applications you can use text written with complex scripts. For example, you can use Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Hindi, and right-to-left languages, such as Arabic and Hebrew.

Note that in order to properly render text content you have to use a font that includes the glyphs of the languages you want to include in your Kanzi application.
