Working with Kanzi Monitor tools¶
The Kanzi Monitor tools run outside your Kanzi application and connect to it over the Kanzi Monitor console, through TCP or a serial port. They use the commands of the Kanzi Monitor services, which are described in Working with Kanzi Monitor services. All of them ship in the tools directory of the Kanzi Monitor package.
Console clients¶
The RemoteConsoleClient and the SerialConsoleClient are command-line clients for the remote console (TCP) and the serial console (UART). Use them to send any Kanzi Monitor command by hand, or a single command from a script or a CI job. Prebuilt for Windows and Linux.
Monitor Web UI¶
A browser-based graphical interface for remotely inspecting and debugging Kanzi applications. Connects to the Overwatch service through a Python WebSocket bridge and provides visual tools for browsing the scene graph, editing properties, previewing textures, and capturing traces.
MCP Server¶
A Python tool that exposes Kanzi Monitor console commands — the Overwatch, Capture, Debug, NodeTree and Resource services — as structured tools for AI assistants such as Claude Code and Claude Desktop. Connects over TCP or serial and enables AI agents to inspect and control a running Kanzi application through the Model Context Protocol.
