Kanzi Particles enables you to create for your Kanzi application particle systems that have their own rules of physics.

This is a prerelease of Kanzi Particles. Some functionality, workflow, and the API is going to change in the future releases of Kanzi Particles. Your feedback is very important to us. To send your questions, findings, and comments use the Kanzi Support Portal at support.rightware.com. When submitting a request regarding Kanzi Particles, set the Product field to Kanzi Particles.

Requirements

Kanzi Particles works with Kanzi 3.9.13.

Contents of the plugin package

The plugin package includes:

  • assets directory contains the Kanzi Studio project that you can use to add a Particle System to your existing project and basic material types that the plugin uses to render particles.

  • doc directory contains this documentation.

  • examples directory contains an example application project that includes showcases for Kanzi Particles.

  • include directory contains the plugin header files.

  • lib directory contains the Kanzi Particles library files for supported platforms. See Getting started with Kanzi Particles.

Installing Kanzi Particles

To install Kanzi Particles:

  1. Install Kanzi Hub and create a Kanzi Account:

    1. Download Kanzi Hub from https://download.rightware.com/releases/public/kanzi_hub/KanziHubSetup.exe.

    2. Install Kanzi Hub and sign in with your Kanzi Account, or follow the instructions to create a Kanzi Account.

    Kanzi Hub allows you to manage your Kanzi projects and installations, download Kanzi software, and access online resources. To access content through Kanzi Hub, you need a Kanzi Account.

  2. In Kanzi Hub, in the Feature Packs, select your Kanzi Studio version and either Win64 or Android platform.

  3. In the Kanzi Particles card, click Download.

    Kanzi Hub downloads and installs Kanzi Particles to the <KanziWorkspace>/Engine/plugins directory.
