Detailed Description

Click input manipulator recognizes the click and tap gestures from the incoming touch events.

The click manipulator generates the messages required to implement the logic for UI elements that users can click or tap. For example, use the input manipulator to create a button.

Examples

To receive the click event, add a message handler for the ClickMessage message.

First create a handler method:

Kanzi generates the ClickBeginMessage in these cases:

  • When the user presses the attached node. This is the default behavior.
  • If you set a gesture to start on hover with the setHoverToBegin function, the click gesture begins when the touch enters a node area while the user presses their finger.
