Working with the Kanzi Studio plugin¶
The Kanzi Figma Importer Kanzi Studio plugin receives transfers from the Figma plugin and adds them to your Kanzi project.
Panel layout¶
Start with Kanzi Studio plugin overview for the panel anatomy and view modes — the header, the staged-block list, the Inspector, and the mode toggle.
View modes¶
The panel has two view modes that swap the body of the panel:
Clipboard mode — live property preview from the last Clipboard packet; Apply writes the selected properties to the currently selected Kanzi Studio node.
Query mode — selection-aware view for staged blocks; per-property conflict rows, Override or Keep choice, version chain.
Library and metadata¶
Library Assets (FVC pipeline) — the FVC pipeline that hosts Figma variables and modes (PropertyTypes, StateManager, States).
Figma metadata node and re-imports — how Kanzi Figma Importer tracks every imported asset through the hidden sentinel node, including the re-import diff and the version chain.
Diagnostics and configuration¶
Debug Log panel — open the dock to inspect import lifecycle, conflict resolution, and errors.
Settings — per-project preferences and the history-management buttons.
