Managing resource files¶
Resource file items are project items that represent the files in the resource file directories of the project directory. Kanzi Studio synchronizes files listed in the Resource Files with those found in the project resource directory.
Whenever you modify files in the resource directory updates them in your project.
However, when you remove files from the project resources directory, Kanzi Studio does not remove them from the Resource Files. This way you can replace the missing files in the project without losing references to those file. If you want to remove a file and references to that file from your project, you have to delete the file in the Resource Files.
Adding resource files to a Kanzi Studio project¶
To add resource files to a Kanzi Studio project drag and drop them from the Windows Explorer to Library > Resource Files. Kanzi Studio copies the files to the corresponding directories in the project directory stored in <KanziWorkspace>/Projects/<ProjectName>.
